What’s Ube Powder?
Ube (Dioscorea alata), also known as purple yam, is a tuber recognised for its naturally violet flesh and mild sweet, nutty and vanilla-like flavour. Herbify’s Ube Powder is made from mature Philippine-grown ube and processed into a fine powder in China for food and beverage development.
Authentic ube is different from taro and purple sweet potato. It provides a distinctive Filipino-origin ingredient story, natural purple visual character and a familiar flavour profile for modern beverage, bakery and dessert concepts.
Conventional and organic options are available. Organic supply is subject to current certification scope and batch documentation.
